We are thrilled to introduce a new member of the DiStefano Family Dentistry team: Dr. Sarah Sinisgalli! We are so excited to be able to help even more patients and bring in more expertise to you with the addition of Dr. Sarah to the team. We spent a lot of time talking to and interviewing doctors to ensure we brought someone on board who was not only aligned with our philosophies, but someone we were 100% confident could perform excellent dentistry and patient care. Dr. Sinisgalli was hand-picked for her amazing talent and chairside manner, and we can’t wait for you to meet her. She is compassionate and capable. She brings years of experience in private practice as well as serving underserved populations.
Dr. Sinisgalli’s Background
Dr. Sinisgalli was born and raised in West Hartford, CT. When it was time to pursue her passions, she found herself at NYU College of Dentistry where she learned to combine her talents for both the arts and sciences in her dental degree. She graduated with honors in Special Patient Care, where she was among a select few to care for patients with disabilities. Their circumstances prevented them from receiving care in a traditional dental setting, so Dr. Sinisgalli learned how to adapt, provide excellent care, with wholehearted compassion for her patients.
After graduating from NYU, she completed her General Practice Residency at Hartford Hospital. After residency, she moved back to Manhattan where she worked in private practice. She also provided care to underserved populations in the Bronx for three years.
A Heart for Service
With a heart for service, Dr. Sinisgalli participates in CT Mission of Mercy, a free dental clinic dedicated to providing charitable dental care to the underserved, uninsured and working poor and building awareness of the importance of oral healthcare to create a healthier community. She has also participated in numerous outreach programs throughout New York City providing comprehensive dental care as well as emergency services to underserved populations.
Professionalism, Talent, and Compassion
Dr. Sinisgalli is thrilled to be joining DiStefano Family Dentistry where she will continue to bring her passion for excellent care to the people of her home state. She is excited to build relationships with her patients. Dr. Sinisgalli believes in listening to patients’ needs, concerns, and desires. She believes in caring for each individual patient in a way that makes them confident in their smile and their overall health. Dr. Sinisgalli is a member of the American Dental Association and Connecticut State Dental Association. She loves to travel, do yoga, play the piano and spend time with friends and family.
